What Happens When a Guest Books

  • A unique Zoom meeting is automatically created for the booking.

  • The Zoom link is also added to the Google Calendar event if calendar sync is enabled.
  • If the booking is rescheduled, the Zoom meeting details are updated automatically.
  • If the booking is cancelled, the Zoom meeting is removed.

Removing the Zoom Integration

You can disconnect Zoom from BookLeaf at any time:

  1. Go to Settings in your BookLeaf dashboard.
  2. Click Disconnect next to Zoom.
  3. Your Zoom OAuth tokens will be deleted from BookLeaf immediately.
  4. Any event types using Zoom will revert to having no conferencing provider. You can update them to use a different provider.

You can also revoke access from the Zoom side by visiting Zoom App Marketplace → Manage → Installed Apps and removing BookLeaf.

Data & Privacy

  • BookLeaf stores your Zoom OAuth tokens securely in an encrypted database to create meetings on your behalf.
  • We only access the Zoom API scopes necessary to create, update, and delete meetings, plus read the signed-in Zoom user profile needed to link the account.
  • No Zoom meeting content, recordings, or participant data is stored by BookLeaf.
  • When you disconnect Zoom, all stored tokens are permanently deleted.
  • For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
